What’s the best advice for handling calls where the caller is somewhat hostile?

For example, you could hire cold callers for marketing, an acquisitions person who meets with sellers, and a dispositions person who networks with buyers and closes the deals.

I assigned one of the callers a task to call the property owner once a week.

But, a few callers asked me if they could pool their money together with some friends and family and get a property.

If you were that caller, you'll be wondering why I am lying and denying I am the owner.  

Anyone have experience in what to pay a cold caller?

I have a cold caller working through absentee lists.

It's a platform similar to UpWork and Fiverr but it's only for people in the Philippines and pretty much I put an application on there looking for a Cold Caller and was able to narrow down to one that would take direction and she's getting paid pretty well honestly with my business.
