While CA politicians have their heads up their _ _ _, we have to find ways around all their BS.

When you ask the investor how much he/she is putting down, they respond like a politician at a Senate hearing.

@Carl JoachimI agree with Mike you need to visit multiple REIA meetings there are meetings in Rockland, Plymouth, Cape Cod and Waltham.Have a buddy who walks a targeted neighborhood door knocking on doors speaking to residents on behalf of the local politician.

@Chad UrbshottThis is the problem when politicians want to manipulate crown corporations for their own electoral ends.  

When it all went to Hell in the meltdown, the politicians worked to bury their part in it by blaming first banks and then mortgage brokers for the problem.

Especially lower income (Politicians love to talk about that). 

From all I have read it seems like the poorer areas may be a beneficiary by comparison as politicians seem to be trying to shield those areas from bearing the consequences.

High property taxes and its corrupt politicians (who wants property taxes to be higher not lower) will eat into your cashflow.I recommend Cincinnati, Ohio (actually I have nothing to gain by recommending this city - I just know the city).

Marco Santarelli At one time there was a politician, Stan Stathem that was trying to split California into two different states, from just above the bay area north being Northern California.

Owners just can't do doubling of the HOA fee just like taxpayers won't vote for politicians who ask to double the tax rate in one year.
