Have been talking about getting into real estate investing for the last 2-3 years and finally pulled the trigger on a 3 unit house hack in Soulard that will be closing later this month and will be self-managing the property.I'm trying to network a bit with other investors, build a solid team of contractors / handymen, and set my systems up in way to scale, but also so my tenants have a good experience.

Mostly interested in smaller apartment complexes, mobile home parks, or possibly personal storage.  

They seemed good, and looks like they have prior experience managing the building I’m buying (based off the leases that were submitted to me) but way to expensive to what I’m use to … $137 - $184 per door (over 10%) and then $750 per door for the maintenance reserve. 

I have an associates in human services but I am wanting/ willing to get experience where I can learn more of the ins and outs of real estate whether it be loans, property managment, etc.

Anyone have experience or know anyone I could talk to about getting work done in that area?
