We once had a tenant make a claim about mold through their attorney, they hired (unbeckoned to us) a home inspector who said in his professional option there was a mold like substance. 

Thos are serious issues and the more eyes on, the better.BTW, you had a good Home Inspector....

The best thing you can do is go to next court hearing(before closing) and talk to the court inspectors.  

The buyer's agent in this case may also be doing a quick walkthrough inspection of the property and offering basic advice from an inspector standpoint.
