Hey bigger pockets family, I'm facing a dilemma that consists of me choosing whether or not to buy a tiny home and put it on my current home's property, creating an ADU to rent out or to save that money that I would put into the tiny home and save for my next purchase.

Eventually I want to get into single family and multi family rentals.As far as effort or work on the fixers;  my brother in law is quite handy and my next door neighbor has said he would help in anything that is out of my scope of expertise. 

We own a family cabin in Tennessee - was ~275k or so back in 2018.

Generally, there are some programs for foreign nationals that are 25% for a single family rental and 30% for a 2-4 unit.  

A traditional single-family rental may net you only $280/month, whereas a co-living setup can bring in over $1,100/month from the same property.4.
