I have built friendships here and it has helped me not feel like that "strange person" who is on a different path.

Maybe they thought they would be the "good guy" or maybe they didn't have the stomach for it or maybe they were fulfilling some friendship they did not previously have.In April we saw people vowing not to charge rent during the pandemic and others regretting that they had not moved forward on evictions when they should have.

He doesn't care about money at all; does excellent high quality work (great craftsmanship), always there for you in emergencies, only sends me a "bill/invoice" when he needs/wants money, and cares more about friendship than business or money.

The other day I went over my friend, who I had hashed things out with, and told him the great news that I was closing on a new home for my family and he got really upset about it.When I told him the timing of things he did not care, all he kept saying is that friendships shouldn't be this hard and that if I was thinking of buying a house I should have come to him sooner and hash things out and he could have been our realtor.Full disclosure before all this, and even though I never uses it, he had giving me his access to the MLS

You are probably friends now, but business can disrupt the friendship.
