If it was a recent bankruptcy, they can't file and get another discharge for 4-7 years (depending on the type of bankruptcy) so I'd rent to them if they otherwise meet the requirements.

If it's scheduled for a foreclosure auction, the BK is irrelevant since it obviously has been released...either discharged or the stay was lifted.
