House hacking can certainly be a great way to build equity and reduce living expenses, but it’s essential to have a cushion in case your rental income doesn’t come in as expected or renovations take longer than planned.

With things like the ONE Linden plan in Linden, which is a 50M plan to improve the neighborhood.

Or are you planning to put 100% of the risk/cost of vacancies, furnishings and tenant nonpayment on the owner with you having 0% risk?

The key is finding the right area/market and having a solid rehab plan that doesn't go too far over budget.

You'll need either a POA or schedule an appointment at the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate for document signing - and you need to plan this well in advance!
