@Jesse HyderI have worked hard to get out of the paycheck to paycheck scenario, that's why I am reluctant to go that direction.I am willing to live in the multifamily, but I am not so certain my wife is.I am also willing to move anywhere around the Salt Lake / Provo area.

I was merely pointing out a few of the countless scenarios the posters numbers and his purchase, which don't make a lot of sense.And, if someone is in a foreclosure situation (still in the process) and there is a death/probate, any probate attorney worth his salt would file on behalf of the estate, so that the property is not completely lost from the heirs, or the state/gov.

On cyberhomes.com it is listed as an estimate of 491K and the range goes from 442-560K The person said that all it needs is paint and sanding of the floors which I also take with a grain of salt...
