I have heard of the washer and dryer situation before!

Mentioning a washer/dryer and full kitchen in a furnished house is about 90% of what it takes me to rent out an STR of mine. 8% is cable/wifi.  

If the current owner doesn't have records to show you, red flag but not necessarily a deal killer. 5-If there are no washer/dryers in the apartments on onsite, you can create a laundry space where you partner and lease with a company providing this service. 

We have a washer in our multiplex that has been absolutely great (compared to the new ones these days). 

The units have electric furnaces, electric water heater, no washer/dryers, and the range is gas.We had an electrician recommended to us by a contractor who is doing some extensive work inside some of these units.

. - IT IS RECOMMENDED TO REMOVE/DISPOSE OF THE WASHER AND DRYER.

I did not make killing on the deal because it was a co-worker from work and it was her 1st house.

I have a 3 bed 1 bath 1200 sq' SFH with full basement.Basement is okay as basements go, but isn't pretty or inviting...Washer and dryer are in the basement.Home is on a septic system.I'm considering converting the smallest bedroom to a laundry room/folding room/extra clothing storage.

Why did you go with the washer and dryer in the kitchen?

I'm considering different washer / dryer options for my rental that already has the necessary hookups.
