Since this is a comsumer loan, I presume this is for his own home, there are lots of laws regardiing making this loan.

But, as always, an attorney well versed in securities law is going to be your best asset.

I had read about needing to have/pay for an agent, but had also seen (perhaps bad) advice that it can helpful to use a lawyer in the state which the property will reside, as laws can vary by state.  

Cities and states are making some crazy laws when it comes to AIRBNB. 

I was really looking for someone for my daughter and son in law. 

He puts up cameras and has an on-site meeting with local law enforcement for a “security walk through”.

It has been such a success that I may go this route for the new units we are finally acquiring as investment properties.There are resources of BP and YouTube about hosting Airbnb, also be sure to check the law in your town.
