Can anyone recommend a structural engineer in the Bay area in the commercial/industrial space?

I am strongly considering starting my career as a mortgage consultant to learn applicable skills that will teach me about that part of the real estate investing industry while building relationships with many key players that will help with my business.

I am looking exclusively in the Chicagoland area right now.

So together I think we'd be a good fit - he knows/sees who the good subs are for the various areas of work that would need to be hired out, has been in the industry for a good # of years and does work for quite a few well known/respected builders.

Trying to transition from the oil industry to real estate in the houston market.

I've been in the construction industry for 30 years, Have held/do hold General Contractor and Electrical Contractors licenses in Massachusetts and Florida.

My wife is about to sit for her Real Estate license exam and we're both excited about what this industry has to offer.We have 3 children and really enjoy what this area of the country has to offer our family with the business and recreational aspects.

He said they generally work in the developements, and it's a good way to learn the industry and how things work.
