I think asking these questions are well within reason.

In other words, it's much cheaper to rent in my market than it is to buy.If your numbers are similar, you could rent out your primary, live in a rental for cheaper than a mortgage (especially if you downsize), and save up for your next primary.

You sound like you are caught up in the Agent count trap that I was caught up in.

But the way I see it is that, in general, someone who is new to the business and is looking to break in and grow will have barriers that can likely drive them out of REI.If it were up to me, I would just let the market dictate the rents and it will find equilibrium on its own.
