If the N Koreans practice nuclear stuff or a catastrophe happens somewhere or there is geo-political unrest, my RE doesn't care. 

I keep in mind that once upon a time I was new to this and didn't know how to properly navigate the waters. 

Imagine speaking three dictionary words to your navigation device and getting directions to any 10' x 10' square in the world. 

As a contractor it allows me to see how the potential customer handles themselves (being prompt, navigating a job site, interacting with my guys, etc) and also starts to set the tone of the experience we would have if we work together and potentially eliminate surprises.

The locals are awesome, but the government systems are generally broken and the need to navigate through those systems can be incredibly daunting to the point that that alone causes significant cultural fatigue.
