Although the sublease allowance can be difficult to introduce, it is much better to sell it as an advantage to the optionor.For instance, tell them by allowing the sublease, they are more likely to keep getting paid in the event you need to relocate.If the optionor is an experienced investor, they probably will not want you to sublet.

Just stumbled on to this site and already enjoying the wealth of information, so thought I would introduce myself.I am a licensed agent out of Austin, TX who has lived here my entire life and specialize in apartment leasing, but for the last year been trying to get a business off the ground providing Valet Trash and Recycling services to large apartment communities.Total newb to investing but I hope to soon be able to acquire some cash and invest in Real Estate and have several ideas for businesses I hope to pursue :wink: My main interests are specifically in new construction, vacation rentals, landlording, flips, and property management.For those in Austin If I can be of any help regarding the rental market in Austin or offer advice/feedback I'd be glad to help!.....
