Hello from Charlotte

I wanted to introduce myself to the other members of this wonderful site. My name is Jeff and I live in the Charlotte NC area. I am a Newbie to real estate investment. I am in the process of learning as much as possible but found out about a month ago that my current IT position is being eliminated on December 31st. That has kicked me in to high gear and I am ready to embark on the journey of investing. I have not made any deals yet but as I said before I am looking to in the near future. I know with the help of this site and the gurus that post on here I will be in good hands :)
