They treat their purchase more like a lottery ticket.

Millenials on down also know that hard work for someone else in and of itself isn't a ticket anywhere, something the boomers that Kiyosaki was originally writing for did not experience until the very tail end of their careers with the Great Recession.  

We had a hotel in Times Square, tickets for Broadway shows and a statue crown tour.

So I think the more property bought, rehab d, sold and dine again and again is the ticket to wealth.

There aren't a ton of properties that show up, and I'm currently an out of towner trying to re-establish my Spokane roots.While I have a property in mind, and I have tickets to go into town and scope this out, I'm trying to adjust my expectations for the auction.

You don't really want to deal with 10 units in 10 different cities with 10 different PMs and 10 plane tickets/hotel reservations/rental cars/etc. to pay for when you check up on them.

Regardless, you absolutely need to report your expenses, especially on big ticket items that need to be capitalized and depreciated, as that is the law.
