I came across the following information while doing my research:"FAQ #7 – When can a landlord legally reject an ESA?

Once you make the offer the seller can either reject the offer, counter or accept with the comment "when can we close?"  

Rejected, no counter, no answer or email returns...

It has never been an issue for me as my screening process generally allows me plenty of outs to be able to reject any applicant I choose.

Ive actually seen more bowed floors in new construction when framers set floor joists crown up... just didnt reject joists with too much crown.

The rejected offers on the table and even got another offer or two in the following week which were also rejected.We placed another offer at the same value we had prior, 340K.

They rejected your counter and terminated the contract.

And the seller rejected it .

We assumed our offer would be rejected.
