The constable was sick and wouldn’t return any of our calls for a couple of weeks all the while they were still just enjoying living in the property rent free.

I also enjoyed the thrill and mantle of being an owner.

I save $ by doing the work myself5. keep in mind your debt to income ratio, banks want to know if you can afford to pay them back6. know what adds value to your home and the comps in the area7. make a killer deal happen, don't shy away from rejection , make sure the numbers make sense, enjoy the journey of real estate , love what you do and you'll never work a day in your life Good luck to you!

It was really nice to enjoy our rental and we didnt feel to bad about blocking off the days for ourselves.

I figured if I go ahead and do the leg work now and put together a quick reference list of cost effective items that will enhance the quality of my rental, it will save me time and money later when needing to do the actual renovations/updates.I'm tracking that markets/locations can vary with styles as well as people's personal preferences etc.Does anyone have a list that they wouldn't mind sharing of what particular items have been your go to when updating your units?

But that leaves me very poor at the moment while I pay off the high interest debt.I really just enjoy working on fixing up homes and want to speed up paying off debt by being part of deals in my time off.
