Or maybe a tenant prefers a dark middle unit so that's the one that's higher.In another case, I have one building with almost identical units and the same lease start date, but the rents are different because one tenant has a Section 8 voucher, which came in slightly lower than the asking rent.

The smoke detectors need to be hardwired between the bedrooms and furnace level.  

In your market this might be a smoking hot deal.

If you went with dark wood cabinets, granite counters etc...then white will look out of place.

It is a shot in the dark but... does anyone here have or know about a decent 4 plex in the valley that is for sale.I am having a difficult time finding a 4 plex to owner-occupy.  

I have dark cherry hardwood on my other rental, I can see the ones that are fresh scratches, but eventually they blended in.
