With short term rental you’re going to have cleaning costs, and consumables, that will cost money, plus things like Internet and tv (depending on what type of area).

No he just sells his name.. this is marketing one o one sports stars do it all the time its called endorsements.. so these TV dudes are paid for endorsers for the back end offices that do all the work..  

This is the modern day equivalent of the late night TV infomercials of the 1980's and 1990's that advertise making millions in real estate.
