(Also, it isn't just that he's working through a backlog of clothes or something like that, this high usage has been going on for months and months) I believe he has some form of cleanliness OCD, both because of this and because when he moved in initially he made many other requests for things to have extra cleaning, additional painting, or to be replaced.

In San Diego $36k year rent, $25k in Fed income taxes, another $5k in state income tax...throw in food & clothing, health insurance & a car (can't get around without a car here) & raising a family would be a very modest, frugal affair on $100k.

I'd track down and follow the men and women on BP sharing their successes in the industry and I'd make sure I had keyword alerts set up to notify me when terms like "self storage" and others related to your education appear in the BP world.
