I am absolutely shocked how ANYONE can make this statement.

I actually hadn't checked my credit score in a few years and was pleasantly surprised that is it in the high 700s, but I would probably be turned down for just about any form of personal credit because my work history has been inconsistent for many years.

He might be shocked to find out he needs to pay taxes today on the $97K in interest that he won't receive for 30 years. 

It's shocking though that they would do it over something so trivial. 

THAN, when you get those approval letters, sit down Ma & Pa, show em how you got in, then hit em with the sticker shock and let it sit just long enough for them to make that beautiful statement that they got it covered. 

I'd be shocked if 90% of realtors have ever seen or read IRC or have a clue if it is implemented in their area and to what extent or with what changes.
