Delta, Kohler, Simmons, and the like are solid fixtures that you can actually get repair parts for and usually for free from the manufacturer. 

It's an 'oops' by the manufacturer 1/4" less narrow than specs.

We found a bigger difference in price comes down to what level you want to put in your homes, each of the manufacturers have several levels of quality, and each of those levels competes with competing brands fairly closely on price.
