I'm wanting to put 20% down and have a 1st position 30 year amortized mortgage with a 2nd position loan (a private loan from a family member) to finance the property.

The SBA assistance is in the form of a low interest rate loan.

Make sure to do a FHA 203k loan so you can finance most of the renovation and save some money for anything that may come up, and furniture.

Hi John, could definitely be an issue as for DSCR loans the appraisal income is typically the number used for qualifying.
