Fast forward a few weeks after I move out I receive a security claim letter along with an estimate from some random rental maintenance company that says "unit turnover".

When one of you hates the deal, needs the money, or has their life change you need a game over plan.

It's hard to say, so much has changed in the last 2 years it's hard to determine for sure.

If you share your balance, rate and payment you can make it takes me 2 seconds to find how many months to zero on my HP 10B calculator.Can easily change the payment amount or term.   

Generally speaking, how have you seen your PM companies change and shift in the last year and what goals do you have for 2024 given the data (qualitative or quantitative) that you have observed?

I would look for another lender that is not normal underwriting, other things can change but not rates
