Since July or so I've been slammed with all kinds of new business.When I am in a slow time I usually dedicate 1/2 my time to drumming up new business and I allocate some time to learn something NEW that I've been meaning to learn about.

There are exceptions to this rule (e.g. if you are a real estate professional and can show that you dedicated the majority of your time to actively managing real estate).In general, I only hold assets which produce ordinary income gains in tax deferred retirement accounts.
