If I had a $75K to $200K car I would probably drive it less than once a month and worry about it getting hit or stolen constantly.If I had never had to make a car payment or baby payments for 4 years I might feel differently.

A few more things worth mentioning: BNSF headquarters will be facing retirement of a very large group of baby boomers the next 5 years, so recruiting for high-paying jobs will remain strong this decade.

My first baby is due May 13 and this might be too soon, lol.

I have a pretty good paying job in an industry (health care) thats not dying out until at least all the baby boomers do too.

My parents are baby boomers and looking to downsize this year.

Unfortunately weekdays at REALLY tough for me w my work schedule and a new baby at home but I can be flexible on weekends. 

I posted a revision to my math in the example I gave earlier... lesson learned not to do math while putting a baby to bed. 

We rented a downstairs unit once,  short-term, and the people above us had a baby while we were there, crying constantly, them up all night so we were up all night. 

Everyone on this website had to start somewhere and with baby steps.
