If you decide to go the DIY route, you can use a palm sander as some suggested but a belt sander is serious overkill and might ruin your walls.

Warren Buffett owns at least a half dozen construction companies...I'm fairly certain most people wouldn't describe him as a "contractor"...and I'm also fairly certain he doesn't hold a contractor's license in any state...nor would he need to....That's quite a silly comparison as I'd venture to say the companies he owns dont do any contract work.

These posts are definitly refreshing to read....i guess the legitimacy factor is always a determining factor in trying a different venture....no one can expect money to just fall into their lap...like with any new business there is a lot of work that needs to go into anything if you want to succeed.
