In the process of buying my first house & trying to make a house hack work in the Boston area.My question is pretty simple -- when I run analysis through the BP Calculator and I enter the Interest Rate, should I be entering actual Interest Rate or APR?

@Jack SeidenGrocery stores don’t have to provide food for people who can’t or won’t pay; transportation services don’t have to provide rides for people laid off who can’t afford rides; doctors don’t have to provide medical services for uninsured who can’t pay; but property owners have to provide housing, and sometimes utilities for tenants who don’t pay.

This mainly means that it is close to transportation and no more than 30-40 minutes from Manhattan (I work in the city), and has good parks nearby to run/cycle.

Then we couldn’t find anyone qualified to build the fire escapes and I was looking down in Boston 180 miles away even.

The prominent industries in BHAM include: banking, finance, manufacturing, transportation, distribution and logistics, biotechnology, IT, corporate mine & most importantly UAB school of Medicine was ranked 10th in the Nation for Primary Care.

Im originally from MA, (Right outside boston) hence the desire to buy OOS.

Land/Storage can be found anywhere, even in the middle of Boston. 

You also want good access to public transportation and/or easy access to a main road.

For instance, here in Lake Tahoe, South Lake Tahoe recently banned STRs everywhere except in town centers where guests can rely on public transport and promote more walkability. 

My lease in a 50 unit apartment in Boston did not have a late fee.
