Based on a quick search, I did not see any governmental agencies addressing this particular question.LA county assessor says the child must make the received property his/her primary residence within 1 year, and must file a valid Home Owners property tax exemption.

Not to mention, many of the tax breaks we count on like child dependents, mortgage interest and such won't be as applicable because our kids will be grown and houses paid off.

As evidence of that, I have a FAR greater number of female tenants than male tenants BECAUSE the white trash males only stop by for a quicky, so the white trash females can get pregnant with their 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th illegitimate child (and therefore get more government money and a bigger section 8 house).

How you choose to own/hold your Canadian properties will depend largely on your own personal situation and your objectives for owning property in Canada.The best advise would be to find an attorney and accountant who specialize in cross-border business and real estate matters.Some things to keep in-mind:1) There is a tax treaty between Canada and the U.S.A. which provides favourable taxation on repatriated earnings from a U.S.A. company which is a 100% child entity of a Canadian corporation.

You could just be having an allergic reaction to the glue in the wallpaper, which would be an easier problem to solve - be sure to wear gloves and long sleeves.
