Depending on what your goal is,  and what group you're planning to rent it to.. personally,  I would fix the doors and make them function, put a nice, new coat of paint on them and replace the knobs and any hardware.

@Shanna Mosby In the 23222 area there are deals to be had, you really have to be on the ground there and find the deals where others have blazed the path and just ride their coat-talis, don't try to go in there and start on a new block.

Looking at a rehab to fix and hold.  It is a lower end deal, low price.  Total needed for buy and fix $50K tops.  But I am learning that lenders will not lend on something this small.  Now what.

I asked the tenants about it and they stated that squirrels (or "some type of animal") chewed into the lids of the receptacles and were then able to gain access to the contents inside.
