As for the wedding, I hope your lease includes language that it is for a residence only and no business should be conducted on the premises.

They might be willing to work with you ‘off the record’ and then make it official once you’ve settled.

I am just wondering what my rights are and if I can refuse to rent to someone for reasons that I have found out about through friends and off record officials in the community.

I’m assuming when I write up a option agreement with an attorney they would include some type of language like that to help protect me in the contract?

She also asks for documents before an official pre-approval letter is provided to ensure you are really qualified.
