I think if you read the ccrs of a coa, you will probably find in the first several pages (in my hoa ccrs, it's about p 13, if I remember correctly) there will be a sentence that says something like "the WeRuleYou Corporation" will henceforth be known as the Main Street Condominiums.

It may depend on the condominium documents as a very few of them absolved a third party purchaser from the underlying HOA debt at an HOA foreclosure.
