You have a home with a 2-story addition and you want to clean and re-stain the cedar exterior.I have used products from Home Depot and Lowe's to clean and stain decks and wood siding.

I have seen it sanded down also (sand beyond the stain), and once you get that natural wood look back you can then laquer over it with a clear finish.

If they stain the carpet and break things, they would pay because the lease would state they are obligated to pay, right?

But let's say a seller says, "oh that, it's really nothing, been that way for a couple years, my Realtor put that in because, technically some moisture comes in under the roof and has caused a stain on the bottom of the roof decking.

yes, typically they are stained to the exterior cabinet color when you spec glass/or an open display cabinet...

We are planning to lay down new tile throughout, paint everything, stain kitchen cabinets, and just some small improvements that are needed.

Since grout is porous, it might have some organic material soaked into it that the mold could feed on and it could cause stains that might be difficult to remove.
