Likely if you do it once or twice you wont have a problem, but if the title company or the realtor who "does this all the time" gets caught and sent to jail like a few idiots here in MN recently, your transaction will be caught and you may face prosecution...jail time is unlikely but hey, it depends on your situation.Lots of people do illegal things all the time and don't get caught.

That is because in GA when someone doesn't make good on the bounced check within 10 days of receiving the demand letter then they can be prosecuted for a bad check,which as stated previously can be a felony.
