& it would be interesting to see if that would work on a lathe & plaster ceiling.But take precautions as some of the paints applied after the initial application may have been lead based.Good luck!!

I am sure there are laws about removing or storing property State specific DO NOT box their things up , You open yourself up to theft accusations .They die , you take pics , and secure the house , take what ever precautions necessary to protect your assett .

I have never had tenants decline to rent due to having to sign a lead paint disclosure,If you know there is lead paint, observe safety precautions when doing rehab work - the paint will not hunt you down and hurt you, you have to eat it or grind it up into dust and breathe it.

I've never seen an ordinance that prevents landlords from taking reasonable precautions through screening to ensure tenants have a good rental history, have a stable income, are not felons, etc.
