Sometimes, it really depends on the vision of the investor as well as their ability to execute.

You might be better off thoroughly vetting your PM and if you aren't satisfied, start looking for a PM that you trust and aligns with your vision. 

I have seen a few decent listings land in Lee's Summit as well as in the midtown area that would be great for holding as development is booming right now.I would love to chat sometime and talk about your vision. 

I’d say if you’re into DIY, a creative individual with a strong vision, have a tolerance for risk, have time / money to put into the investment, and finally want a place that you’ll enjoy then go STR.

I guess I have these visions of the deal going perfectly as I picture it...Correct me if I am wrong, but like I said I would do a private or hard money loan.
