You gotta improve your value a few notches I think to justify 50%.

Maybe the 2017 tax and jobs act gets extended, but either way, if tax savings is the primary motivation, don't do it.

I have a W-2 Job, capital saved up for a down payment (or two), and a buy box based on my affordability.

Of course it isn't going to work for everyone...then again, I also have many friends with degree's that cost them 6 digits that cannot get a job in their field!
