The price of the meal is disclosed up front and itemized . if I am in the mood for fast food I expect to pay under $20 bucks but if I want filet mignon , I know I can spend more than $100.

I know when I travel its always 1500 to 2k minimum to move from West to East.. buy your tickets your hotel your car your meals etc etc... and its a write off so it should be expensed towards income on that property.

I use 3 categories - mileage, meals, materials, and just drop the receipt expenses into each.

Rather than getting 2 or 3 rooms for a party of 6 for 125 a nite for  each room, they dont mind a house with a kitchen they can prepare basic meals in for the cost of one unit, and still experience chicago living the way we do.
