What is the better software for managing rental houses. Quicken Rental Management or Quickbooks Pro 2016. I did see there is a small forum on this, but I still cannot make a decision. Any further help on this would be appreciated.

Thank You,

Jenny

Thank you Linval.

We should all want to have a "Coach" in life, for without someone to show us how to do something, we may never know how to do anything.  And, we may be missing the best investment in our lives by refusing to learn something because we have to go the extra mile to do so.

Listen, I'm  not one for following a manual when putting together stuff, like  furniture pieces.  So I try to put it together myself, because I'm bullheaded.  Only to find out I have several screws and bolts left over and the furniture looks nothing like the picture.  Bottom line is and was, that I needed a coach.  Once I gave in to my bullheadedness, and read the darn instructions, the piece I was working on look just like the picture.  I tried to do it myself to save me time. But it only cost me time and frustration, because I felt I didn't need a "Coach" (The Instructions)

When we were young our parents were our "Coach".  They taught us how to read and write, and walk.

When we went to school, the teachers were our "Coach".  They taught us how to read and write and interact with other people.

When we were adults and got a job, we had to be trained for that job.  Our boss or previous employee was our "Coach".

I see many investors buying rentals and becoming landlords and they have no clue what it entails.  They go into it cold turkey, without a "Coach".

So if something is so hard to learn that we need to have a "Coach", perhaps it is a good sign and not a bad one.  For life is all about learning, and the only way to learn is via a "Coach".  Remember, everyone you talk to in life is your "Coach".  Every book you read is your "Coach", and everyone one who gives you advice on here and you take it, has been your "Coach".

Nancy Neville.
