@Josh TurnerI am a licensed roofer and love doing roofovers... big money saver and works fine...people discourage it because it is less profitable...there is no evidence or facts that it harms anything.

You might benefit more from looking at the experiences and investing habits of high function professionals like medical professionals, professional athletes and successful business folk in other time demanding fields.  

But even so, it's not something I want to make a habit of.

I dont understand the other risks that others are saying but as long as the taxman is paid back I dont see the harm.

So make a habit of lighting up and looking at finished flat walls and eyeballing edges of work that seem well-finished to you.

The new landlord moved me into a different apartment because mine was no longer habitable.

They spend everything they've got to make their first purchase so they have nothing saved up for the unforeseen issues that always pop up and they're still practicing the same bad financial habits they always have.It's beset to have a strong foundation with good credit, an emergency fund, etc.
