Any thoughts or guidance is very much appreciated and worth a big fat steak dinner if your in my area or coming thru!

I'd recommend you come to some of the lunch meetings if you can or the dinner meetings.

Its not necessary forever but if you buy a struggling facility, you will want to ramp up as quickly as possible and that inevitably involves dinner time calls.I just scratched the surface here and I know the questions I asked arent the easy ones to answer but you dont want to be one of those people who gets a couple years into investing to realize that your ladder was against the wrong wall (I speak from experience).Hope that helps.Mike

 $3 to feed 4 people dinner seems like a great price all while they rip you off 300% from what the locals pay.  

This answers your question as well @Justin Young not paying her back would make things a little difficult at Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners..

Your wife sounds like me :) I'd MUCH rather not have to cook dinner(!)

My bar tabs were often a lot cheaper then the cost to attend, but I would often end up making some great connections and get invited to after hour dinners and parties and often waltz into the the meetings on day two and day three when the registration crew was a lot lighter.
