I work for a flooring company as a designer and meet contractors and people who flip homes regularly so it has me flirting with the idea of doing it myself.My question is, how did you get your spouse to be on board with real estate investing?

I recommend consulting with a lawyer or a company that deals with setting up entities to assess what's best for you.

Some of the larger companies will take them, but they often charge a fee.

Gas company couldn't schedule to turn in gas till 5/6!!!

One if you do not register your company as a foreign company you usually cannot file an answer in court if you are sued. 

1) Research Zoning of similar property2) Do search with same zoning criteria with propertyradar or have title company give you a list.3) Possibly filter by satellite photos to eliminate undesirable topography.

3) Any specific states you recommend to set up any of these (Not sure where I'll be purchasing property yet, maybe Detroit, maybe Cleavland, maybe Augusta, maybe Des Moines, maybe Saint Cloud, maybe Memphis...)4) I already have a LLC based in Hong Kong (We call them limited companies, but the principle is the same).
