I like the way it looks, but it requires a minimum moisture content in the air, which I don't have out here in the desert, so I've never installed it.I can't think of any reason a buyer would object to it, other than the obvious one that they have their heart set on red cherry floors (which is a problem with any and every flooring you use)I don't think bambeoo is any cheaper than other wood flooring, so you chose it because you like the way it looks.

It resists moisture but when moisture gets in it's tougher to get out thus creating a better environment to breed mold.

The reason for it was because the drain and the shower liner (that leads to the shower basin) were both bad and the new tile going over the old tile certainly didn't stop the moisture from getting through.

I have just finished putting down 3 pallets of laminate in some of my rehabs, the most important things to look for are length of tongue (the short tongues have a tendancy to want to snap, plus they can move eisier), resistance to moisture, and of course looks.

As a contractor I believe underlayment is very important under laminated flooring (unless the flooring has integrated underlayment) as it helps minimize the moist penetration and overall help with the squeaking of the floor.
