All in, I believe the entire build will be ~$300,000 (I haven't tallied lately) but we've been able to keep it cheap because we're doing a lot of the interior finishes ourselves.

Personally I would just consider either lease it cheap to nearby farmers, check with another solar developer if the reason is not prohibitive or sell at a loss.

New construction going for so cheap in this area as opposed to how much new construction goes for New Jersey made me very interested in just purchasing something that is already completely done and hopefully good to go for the next few years.

As for Peru you can find really really cheap land but not in the areas where there is a lot of tourism or big expat communities.

The lake was nice at Stillwater - we would ride snowmobiles on it when it would freeze solid - and Pocono Farms had a golf course that we would hunt golf balls on - but a lot of the houses were in sad states of disrepair, which is why we lived there - they were cheap.
