If you do decide to alter the lease agreement, I would make sure that you get whatever you decide in writing and preferably from a real estate attorney would be best suited to write it up for you...Hope that helps!

We plan to move in mid-Feb.However, we did see and walkthrough the property, and have a phenomenal agent willing to assist a great deal, but we will definitely look into altering each unit with a unique and different feel and approach, allowing different rehab intervals and even allowing the tenant to have a say in the choice of trims and finishes.Are you currently living in a project you completed?

I called the property manager and was able to get a copy of the contract(un-altered I would hope) and sure enough it says the lease ends the 25th of this month, instead of the last day of the month.

So maybe they get lucky and sell it at the higher price and make a few $$ more....... but if its sits for 3 months then YOU are losing $$ for those 3 months....not them...... and you drop the price and it hardly even alters the agents commission.
