Call foremost, they have good rates and do mobile/manufactured policies on owned land.

I have put some up (for mobile homes) and never gotten a nasty call, but I put those out in more rural areas, not at like Six Forks and Millbrook or the middle of North Hills.

Other states may use language you can pull a mobile home through.

I think you are right you will have a hard time finding a cash flow location in Southern California, unless you want to go manage mobile homes in the desert.

I might have an in to get a good deal on one or two 1987 doublewide hallmark-yorktown mobile homes (that's what they're listed as).

I'm no longer listening to that voice.This is partially due to discovering that a friend of mine, after investing in mobile homes on the side for a few years while he worked his regular 9-5 was able to "take a package" and go full time with investing rather that submit to the whims of the big corporate brother.
