So when looking for land to build on you need to be aware of that.There has been a lot of talk about changing the setbacks etc which could make some lots unbuildable.Pure lakefront will always trump community beaches IMHO.

Nope.Our home is 2700sqft 3/3 with a kids bunkroom (essentially a 4th bedroom). 2 decks right on Lake Coeur d'Alene (well across the road) with a beach and right on the 72 mile bike trail.

My brother is a Falcon guy, so I'm glad none of use are from that terrible school on the Hudson.My idea is that the area will be popular for both Navy/CG/USMC/USAF students and next to the beach - really seems like I can't go wrong in terms of finding interested renters.

I'm going to be living near a tourist location (beach), two different military bases, a hospital, and two colleges.
