I am looking to DIY renovate my kitchen In my house hack duplex, I was needing to buy a new stove and dishwasher.. looking at the big box stores the cost for a decent one is quite intimidating.

Hi @Dawn Anastasi thanks for your input, unfortunately here in Quebec there is no such thing as telling a tenant you need the property vacant to remodel :(

(It dawned on me later that night)To me it only makes sense as part of a larger remodel project, though, where the kitchen needs to be get ripped out anyway.

@Helen Fremichael - My 3 units all have dishwashers and 1 washer - I pay about $120 every other month.  

You can make minor adjustments based on the type of appliances (dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, air conditioning, etc.) and the size of the rental.

@Dawn Cohen  When showing potential clients listings, why not show them what those other realtors listed homes for and what they sold them for? 

In this case, I changed the kitchen layout, adding veggie sink to the island, while moving the main sink and dishwasher to an outside wall.

Is adding a dishwasher to the kitchenette against regulations?
